I wrote it in English for scientists. Not because I am a scientist, but because I strongly suspect that they have overlooked what is actually the foundation beneath everything they work on, and as a result sometimes search along familiar paths, or for something that simply cannot exist.

This book marks the beginning of the exploration we have started with Lex Naturalis.

 

On the website wamatica.org you will find updates related to this computational method. There you will find solutions to problems that are difficult to address with current approaches. We also present new findings that emerge from analyses performed using wamatica, which is named kwatamica in this book.

We bouwen steeds betere systemen, maar ze voelen steeds fragieler. We weten steeds meer, maar begrijpen steeds minder hoe alles samenhangt.  Dat is geen gebrek aan kennis. Het is een gebrek aan overzicht en samenhang. Dit boek daagt uit om anders te kijken:

  • naar relaties in plaats van dingen

  • naar draagkracht in plaats van optimalisatie

  • naar samenhang vóór oplossingen

Als je dit boek leest als een onderlegger, opent het ruimte voor van alles:

  • andere manieren van modelleren

  • andere vormen van systeemontwerp

  • andere gesprekken tussen disciplines

  • andere criteria voor de vraag: werkt dit eigenlijk?

Als het boek zijn werk doet, ga je vormen niet meer op dezelfde manier bekijken en wordt je besef anders.

Ik heb het geschreven in het Engels voor wetenschappers. Niet omdat ik wetenschapper ben, maar omdat ik sterk de indruk heb dat zij over het hoofd hebben gezien wat eigenlijk het fundament is onder alles waar ze zich mee bezig houden en daardoor soms zoeken naar de bekende weg, of naar iets wat er domweg niet kan zijn. 

Het boek is het begin van de ontdekkingstocht die we met Lex Naturalis zijn gestart. 

 

Op de website wamatica.org staan updates die met deze rekenmethode te maken hebben. Daar staan oplossingen voor problemen die met de huidige middelen niet zo makkelijk lukken. En laten we nieuwe bevindingen zien die het gevolg zijn van analyses aan de hand van wamatica, in dit boek nog kwantamica genoemd.
